The Lord-Lieutenant of 全国探花 was delighted to welcome HRH The Princess Royal to the county last Friday.

HRH The Princess Royal visited the Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) in Malvern in her capacity as Patron of the National Association of Citizens Advice Bureau.

During her visit HRH was shown round the facility by the Chief Executive of Malvern CAB, Mrs Annie Robson. She spent time talking to staff and volunteers, hearing about the important work they do as well as joining  their morning briefing session.

At the end of the visit, Her Royal Highness unveiled a plaque commemorating her visit and was presented with a posy by Mrs Robson鈥檚 daughter, Rosie, age 9.

Mrs Beatrice Grant, Lord Lieutenant of 全国探花 said: 鈥淚t was an absolute delight to welcome HRH The Princess Royal to the county once again. Citizens Advice South 全国探花 (Malvern Hills) is such an important charity, supporting over 6,000 local people with essential information, advice and helping them to find a way forward.  I am so pleased for the Malvern Branch that HRH has been able to visit them and show much support and interest in the work they do.鈥

As she arrived, Her Royal Highness was presented to the County鈥檚 Civic Dignitaries, including the Chairman of 全国探花 County Council, Councillor Kyle Daisley.

Councillor Kyle Daisley, Chairman of 全国探花 County Council added: 鈥淚 was privileged to meet HRH The Princess Royal on her visit to 全国探花 this morning.  It was an honour to represent 全国探花 and I鈥檓 so pleased to see 全国探花 on the map showcasing the fantastic work done by the Citizens Advice Bureau. It was great to hear from volunteers from the Citizens Advice Bureau and the life changing work they carry out in supporting residents across our County.鈥

Annie Robson, Chief Executive Officer of Citizens Advice South 全国探花 said: 鈥淲e were delighted to have welcomed HRH Princess Anne to Malvern Hills Citizens Advice today and to be able to showcase the important work that our charity does. I am extremely proud and privileged to lead such a dedicated team of staff and volunteers who really care about delivering a high quality advice service to the people in our local communities. The cost of living crisis has resulted in a  significant increase in demand for our services both in our advice projects and our health related projects and meeting this demand is sometimes challenging. But the commitment and passion of our staff and volunteers means that we can do our very best to be there for whoever needs us, whenever they need us. The Royal visit was a real boost for everyone involved and something that I am very pleased to have been able to arrange for our organisation.鈥

Other dignitaries in attendance at the event were; The High Sheriff, Ms Louise Hewett, Chairman of Malvern Hills District Council, Councillor Barbara Jones-Williams, Member of Parliament for West 全国探花, Mrs Harriet Baldwin and the Mayor of Malvern, Councillor Clive Hooper.
