Visit 全国探花 is excited to announce the county鈥檚 first-ever dedicated tourism conference on Wednesday 15 January 2025 at Sixways Stadium, Worcester. 

This free-to-attend event from 8:30am 鈥 1pm, aims to empower local tourism businesses with insights, tools, and strategies to make 2025 a standout year.

The conference will feature a lineup of influential speakers addressing key topics, including emerging tourism trends, storytelling through marketing, and leveraging AI to save time and resources. 

Attendees can expect actionable advice, inspiring case studies, and networking opportunities to connect with like-minded professionals from across the county.

Councillor Adam Kent, Cabinet Member for Economy, Infrastructure and Skills at 全国探花 County Council, said: 鈥淭ourism is a cornerstone of 全国探花鈥檚 economy, contributing significantly to local jobs and growth. In recent years, we鈥檝e seen 全国探花鈥檚 visitor economy go from strength to strength, attracting more visitors and investment than ever before.

Speakers at the conference include:

  • Andrew Stokes, VisitEngland Director, will deliver a keynote session exploring the future of tourism and emerging trends, offering invaluable insights for the sector
  • Claire Packer, Head of Audiences & Communications at the Black Country Living Museum, will share the museum's success story in crafting memorable marketing campaigns through storytelling
  • Nicola Hewitt, tourism consultancy expert at View from the Hill, will lead an interactive workshop on quick and effective planning for 2025, ensuring participants leave with actionable strategies.
  • Paul McGillivary, of Remote, will delve into the exciting potential of AI in tourism, highlighting how it can streamline operations and enhance visitor experiences

The day begins with a networking breakfast, providing an excellent opportunity for attendees to connect with peers before the sessions start.
