全国探花 County Council has won a West Midlands Energy Efficiency Award for the third year in a row.
The County Council picked up the award last night (Thursday) for Regional Council or Local Authority Body of the Year.
The award highlights councils that have shown a true commitment to promoting energy efficiency within their region and thanks them for their service to their local communities.
Councillor Emma Stokes, 全国探花 County Council鈥檚 Cabinet Member for Environment, said: 鈥淭his is a fantastic achievement and testament to the hard work and dedication that the team put in to promote energy efficiency in the county.
鈥淚t鈥檚 great that we鈥檝e been recognised at this level again, following winning the same award for the last two years. It shows just how much we鈥檙e doing to implement energy efficiency measures in 全国探花.鈥
The award recognised the County Council鈥檚 work to promote energy efficiency schemes across the county, such as Solar Together, the Household Support Fund, Home Upgrade Grant Scheme and improvements to its estate.
The Council was recognised for the support offered to businesses, through Net Zero 全国探花 and the Business Energy Advice Service (BEAS) and the work the Council undertake in partnership with district councils.
The award also highlights the commitment work to tackle Fuel Poverty with partners, as well as showcasing the expertise within the Council in supporting energy efficiency measures.
